I’ve lived in the Four Corners for more than 25 years, in Montezuma County and La Plata County both. I raised my kids here. The people here are my people, which sounds cheesy written down and is true anyway.
That’s most of why the name changed.
When I picture a fire, I picture everybody around it. Ranchers and people in cowboy hats, hunters, fishermen, the folks who are here for a season and gone by spring. Nobody has to qualify to sit down. The talk goes places it doesn’t go across a desk, and you walk away with something you didn’t bring.
So we’re opening the offices for an evening.
Wednesday, September 30
4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
100 Jenkins Ranch Road, Durango
Come meet the clinicians. A lot of us have been here for decades, and we aren’t each just a single cookie cutter therapist. If you’re skeptical about therapy, or you figure we’re all just shrinks, I’ve heard that one before and you’re the person I’d most like to talk to.
Plus – we’ll have hors d’oeuvres and Fireside Center merch to take home!
You don’t have to be a client to come, and you don’t have to be thinking about becoming one. We’re just excited to see you.
Lillian Ramey, EdD, MSW
